In June 2024, Brisa and Sensei expanded their partnership with the launch of a new autonomous POD at the Pombal service station, under the Colibri brand. Building on the success of their autonomous Cabinets across Portugal, the new POD offers an upgraded grab-and-go experience with a wider assortment and the same seamless convenience available at any time of day.
Strategically located on one of Portugal’s busiest motorways, the Pombal POD allows travelers to quickly pick up fresh snacks, cold drinks, coffee, or even freshly squeezed juice—without queues or checkout interruptions. Powered by Sensei’s technology, the store provides real-time stock visibility, optimized replenishment, and an average shopping time of just 11 seconds.

As José Maria Lima, General Director at Brisa Service Areas, puts it: “Sensei’s technology enables us to serve our customers quickly and efficiently, especially during peak times. The Colibri Express rollout has been smooth and seamless.”
